In practical terms…
The Hotel du Simplon boasts an exceptional location: 50 metres from Place Carnot, 2 steps from Perrache station, in the city centre, on the peninsula, in the Ainay district…This central location will enable you to discover the city on foot, by bike or by public transport, all directly from the hotel.
When the weather is fine, take your bike along the banks of the Rhône and head for the Parc de la Tête d’Or for a picnic in the shade of the hundred-year-old trees.
The Ainay district offers boutiques with a strong identity and an alternative offering. Need to get some height? From the historic district of Vieux Lyon, take the pleasant climb up to Fourvière and its breathtaking views over the capital of Gaul.
